A big “Hello” to everyone and to tell you a little bit about me,
My family and I moved here from England last year; we live in Buderim and my 4 children are all at Immanuel College. Buderim is a wonderful place to live and I am very much looking forwards to working up here. I have been an Osteopath, Cranial Osteopath and Applied Kinesiologist for 17 years having trained at the European School of Osteopathy, the London Osteopathic Centre for Children and latterly at the Prague School of Manual Medicine and Rehabilitation in the Czech Republic. Along the way I have trained with the top Applied Kinesiology teachers in the UK and Europe. I have run my own successful practices in Yorkshire and latterly as a hospital consultant. I’ve gained huge experience treating professional rugby and football players, ballet dancers, pregnant Mums, Mums and Dads, newborn babies and children. Working in the hospital gave me fantastic experience of working in conjunction with the surgeons and specialists to provide care that was always in the best interests of my patients. Though my approach was often radically different to theirs I gained their respect. Dr John will be a very hard act to follow and I realize that having a “new Dr” is always a big change and the fact that I am an Osteopath may seem confusing! The differences between Osteopathy and Chiropractic are now predominantly historical but with the diagnostic interface of Applied Kinesiology there will be very little difference between our approach. You can be assured that I share John’s passion and integrity and I am determined to do my very best for you. Annie will be there running the practice and will keep me on “the straight and narrow”. I love treating families and I have a particular soft spot for babies. The combination of Osteopathy and Applied Kinesiology provides the cutting edge of natural health care and I will be here for you in your time of need. However my aim is to keep you healthy and thus avoiding any emergencies. I may not understand much about AFL / Aussie Rules yet or have John’s love of Ice Hockey but I adore Rugby Union! Though since moving to the Coast I have become involved with the Nippers at Mooloolaba and am about to start my Bronze Medallion training with the eventual aim of being a Nippers coach.
