A goodbye and a hello
By Roger Kingston
Beachside Health centre in Mooloolaba Goodbye from Dr Laura Hodgson - Osteopath Earlier this year I became a Mum to a cheeky little boy and he is an absolute delight! It has been a tough decision but I have decided to spend the early, precious time with Jack at home. I felt that the practice needed someone who could devote the time, energy and continuity to it that you deserve until I decide to return to practice. I’m handing over the reins to Dr Roger Kingston who is a very experienced Osteopath and Cranial Osteopath. Prior to his moving to Australia, Roger ran his own practice in England and was a Consultant in a private hospital. Everyone who has seen him tells me that they are very impressed with his skills and personal approach. Roger practices the full spectrum of Family Osteopathy including spinal and muscular pain, sports injuries, trauma, pregnancy care and children. He has a particular soft spot for treating babies with cranial osteopathy. Thank you for having trusted me to look after you over the last 6 years. I will genuinely miss hearing about your lives and the close friendships we have formed and I am confident that you will be well looked after by Roger and I wish you all the very best for the future. Dr Laura Hodgson Hello from Dr Roger Kingston – Osteopath I want to say a big thank you to all those of you that I have met so far and for the warmth of your welcome to the Coast. My family and I moved here from England I have been an Osteopath & Cranial Osteopath for 17 years having trained at the European School of Osteopathy, the London Osteopathic Centre for Children and latterly at the Prague School of Manual Medicine and Rehabilitation. I have run my own successful practices and latterly as a private hospital consultant. I’ve gained huge experience treating professional rugby and football players, ballet dancers, those with acute and chronic pain, pregnant Mums, newborn babies and children. Working in the hospital gave me fantastic experience of working in conjunction with the surgeons and specialists to provide a first class service. Laura will be a hard act to follow and I realize that having a “new osteopath” is always a daunting experience. However I would love to be the one who is there for you in your time of need or in helping you to maintain your spinal health. Should you wish to meet me and ask me any questions please do not hesitate to phone me or pop in for a chat. I certainly intend to remain on the Sunshine Coast and I look forwards to offering you continuity of first class osteopathic care. Dr Roger Kingston
